I have a ’96 Mazda 626. It’s been running rough and I have found that the issue is that the fuel pump is not pumping enough pressure. It’s pumping about 25 lbs and should be about 35 – 40. The pump is a week old. So I tested the power going to the pump itself. At the battery I get a reading of 12.34 volts and the pump it read around .36 volts. My question is how I can isolate the problem and where is the best place to start. If you can please be specific and I am not too experienced in the whole wiring thing. Thanks!
