it seems that i need a new fuel pump. at first it was thought to be my o2 sensors. i have been having problems with it while driving down the road it acts like its not getting enough fuel and it tries to cut off it jerks and sputters but eventually catches up it feels like its trying to go it just cant. so i was told to put some fuel injection cleaner in so i did then when i started it up after getting gas it started shaking violently and running very rough. also it i could feel it rev up and it would try to go on its own. i then parked for a minute and let it sit. when i started it up it was ok but was still hard to accelerate. my bf drove it to his house and it did it once and when it did the gas pedal was all the way to the floor and it was going very slow but he could feel it trying to go faster. so is this really the fuel pump. i have been looking at them and they are very pricey. i just went back to work after beign laid off for two months so i dont have a ton of money to keep replacing parts that arent needed. so does it sound like the fuel pump or is it something else? please help??
oh i also want to mention the only code it was throwing was for the o2 sensor. that was only because of the wires rubbed the drive shaft and they have been fixed and the oxygen sensor ahs been tested. my check engine light has not come back on since i had the codes cleared.

Change the Fuel Filter, it is clogged up with Winter moisture and dirt. They get that way every few years it is normal. Easy to change and doesn't cost much. Also add HEET gas additive ( the one in the RED bottle ) this has Isopropyl alcohol and that will get the condinsation out of your tank.

Just guessing i guess. You may find the trouble that way. But i doubt it. How much do think you can spend. You may want to buy the proper scanner ( no a code reader) And a repair manual. Then you may have a chance.

Do you go to the Casino's much ?
