changed fuel pump 3 times, fuel relay 2, fuses3,fuel filter 2
blew out lines fuel is getting to the (tbi) but car will sit and idle rough in the driveway on 15.00 worth of gas but when you move the vehicle for a ride it has to be towed home and if you drain more gas out then car starts back up and runs but right as we speak the new fuel pump is not running again..we have had suggestions of the catylictic converter,and the fuel pressure regulator, and the computer and the service engine light is on but it won't make it to have it checked out...
any suggestions will be appreciated, the new motor has about 6000 miles on it and the vehicle is a 1990 chevy caprice 5.0 tbi the old motor had 650,000 miles on it she has a new front end ,new tires, new alt,starter
new bat , new radiator, .the only parts not new is carb, dist,and exhaust she was in the shop for all of the new work and new motor for 3 months she has been down now 8 months in fact she had made an escape for a hurricane last year when she quit running 120 miles from home she started with this fuel problem
