i just got a 2000 katana 600 and the fuel knob to switch from on / off / reserve isnt labled and was wondering which way is which?

suzuki uses a ball valve opened by vacuum from intake...this shuts fuel off when engine is off...the petcock has a "prime"position which allows you to prime a dry fuel line, but if you leave it that way,it will dump gas past the rings and into the crank oil,and when you start the bike, pressure will blow out the oil pan gasket
