Fuel Gauge gone bad

My fuel gauge just started bouncing around like crazy (02 w/57k miles) and I have read that this is a common issue. Would anyone have a part # for and 2002 FLHTCUI fuel gauge. I have found a bunch of 08 and later take offs. Would they work?
