I was biking from a friends house earlier today. The roads were pretty clear but it was somewhat dark. I was going down the sidewalk when a car fucking pulled over onto the sidewalk, stepped on the gas, and honked his horn. Naturally, I went left into the bushes and trees. My $850 bike is now trash. IT TOOK 3 FUCKING WEEKS JUST TO GET THE PARTS FOR IT! Not only that but I had to walk my bike home 1.5 miles. People are such jerks.

this is in the wrong forum, but that really does suck. you should make a police report, maybe they have a report of something similar from someone else who may have happened to get a license plate or something useful.

This is one of those times when having an automatic video device, like those equipped on police vehicles, would have been helpful to catch that dirt wad.

Wonder if he/she has "scaring the shit out of bicyclists" listed as a hobby on his/her resume.

Shame (understatement) about the bike, but glad you weren't hurt any worse.

That really sucks and I know quite how you feel. I had some jackass run me off the road with my twins (one-yearolds) in a stroller and came literally two inches from running over the stroller after he caused me to flip it onto it's side.Guess how fun it was to carry the back of a stroller because some asshole broke the back wheel off? I wish you had of caught "your" guy/girl at least you could feel a little better about it.
