Fucking helicopter mission

The UL paper helicopter mission where I have to fly while my partner shoots down the helicopter really pisses me off. The fucker doesn't even shoot once most of the time I try. I am fucking flying parallel to the damn helicopter, virtually the same height and he doesn't even bother taking a potshot at the damn thing. Then... if he does decide to shoot he misses like a mofo.

Seriously, I think out of the 20 times I've tried this mission he has fired his gun 4 times and never hit. So I just run back to the heli. Fly around the city again. and watch the helicopter fly back to land. Pisses me off. I haven't used any cheats yet but I wish there was some way to just skip this mission because I suck ass at it.
 
I thought the directions were to keep the other helicopter to my right so Jacob could shoot out of the passenger seat. I switched it out of first person mode and noticed he was hanging out of the left side of my copter. So I just did a quick 180 and took the bitch out.

I'm a tard... the mission isn't impossible after all (as long as you can read).

that's exactly what I did...I was getting so pissed, yelling at my tv at jacob "what the fuck you nig fire the damn rocket!"

once i figured out he was hanging out of the left I did it the first try
