ok so before moving to texas I shopped for cell phones.. So I could stay in touch with my family during transit to texas and while living here. So I looked for a service that had coverage in east virginia(my old home) and north texas(my new home). Cingular's coverage map in the store covered both completely.. So I got a phone and a 3 year plan cause it knocked the phone to 9.99.

Oh.. But low and behold... Cingular has no local coverage for my area even though thier coverage map has no descernment between local and roaming.. So I've had dropped calls, unreasonable charges and no local number since i moved here...

If they wont give me a local number and stop dropping calls I want my 3 year contract ended without charges due to breach of contract.. fuck cingular..
 
i think all cell phone companies are d-bags. i hate that whole industry, not to say that i don't like having my cell phone, but my family has gone through so much shit with sprint.
 
Hell yeah fuck cingular. They are a fucking rip off. I got charge 400 dollars in 2 months. Ever tried calling their customer service? the fucking bastards say different things to the same qustions on different days.:mfinger: :gun: :sword: :flamed:
 
I was also, in the long search for a good cell phone company, and thankfully I had a pre-paid cell phone through Tracfone while I was stationed in San Diego, so I could see how the other companies ripped off people before I even signed up with their stupid ass contracts :mad: . However, after returning to San Diego, and realizing that pre-paid is just about as much a rip off as contracted phones, there seemed to be no good compaines for me. T-mobile wanted to charge me a $500 deposit just to get a phone with them, FUCK T-MOBILE!! :mfinger::gun: :sword: . But, I did find a good phone through a new company called Cricket. I pay $45 a month with NO contracts, and I get unlimited local and long distance (UNLIMITED meaning the entire month no matter how much I talk :thumbsup: ), free voice mail, no roaming charges, and my phone works in all 50 states, Canada, and Mexico. I travel alot due to my military obligations and I needed a phone that was dependable, and so far Cricket is holding out, but I don't know if they are available everywhere. It's worth a look, if they are in your area. Oh, yeah and FUCK SPRINT TOO!!! :mfinger:
