:mad: Ok, so, this is an update about my other thread. It's been 10 business days since I filed a claim, called half.com, and filed a police report. Apparently, they had the investigation into the theft of my money on hold because when I wrote my first statement, I wasn't specific enough. I didn't say that I had used half.com in the past but that the two specific transactions I listed in the previous statement which were made by half.com, sooooo... I had to send in another statement which will take two days to be processed and then it will take another 10 business days to resume the investigation. I'm so fucking pissed right now. And to top it off, I sat on hold for a freaking half hour.

They have my contact information, if they needed more information, they could have called me to tell me instead of waiting for me to call and see why the charges haven't been removed. GAH!!!!! :mfinger:
 
So, I call today becuase it's been 48 hrs. since I sent in the second statement. I get transfered to the lady who worked on my orrigional claim and she said she had denied it because I hadn't said that I've shopped with half.com in the past. I told her I sent in a new one stating that and she told me it could take up to another 45 days for that claim to be delt with. :shead: I'm so fed up with all this. I'm beginning to think that I'll never get my money back. At this point I'd be happy if they would take the overdraft charges off my account. Mom wants to get the Atorney General involved. I just want this to be done with and to have my money back. I worked hard for that and it's not fair that someone just came and swiped it from me. I thought the bank was supposed to be safe. :sad:
 
I've had debit cards from two different banks swiped from me and used, and both were easy to deal with. Charges removed, no money out of my pocket, and no fees incurred. That just really sucks for you.
