FTN - Why so special?

Ftn is good because of the rarity of it . Sct was 10 times better , better speeds , active community ,better content and pretime . But for a small userbase ftn is pretty active and get's decent speeds
 
As per title, why is FTN portrayed as the god of private torrent sites?

Surely it's got to be more than just pre-times and speeds..
 
I think some people just make up trackers that don't exist so everyone thinks they don't have the best there is.

You haven't heard of ppp.tv (passtheporn.tv)? It's the best and you get like a bad ratio if you download less than you upload. It's like so awesome.
 
They honestly don't have much going for them. Just like U2 they're "stuck in a moment"

Unfortunately that moment was several years ago.
 
FTN surprised me. Kind of expected the place to fail to meet my expectations. However, once I got in, FTN has turned out to be something quite special. Always seems to be some activity in the IRC, and there are a few interesting threads in the forums. However, what I fell in love with at FTN is the packs. I know I know, you see invite requests all the time "blah blah community and packs and pre times blah blah blah" but end of the day, those simple things really are what make me enjoy it.
 
The only reason FTN is so sought after is its rarity. Its not a very good tracker if you're actually looking for content. They used to have good packs, but even that nearly stopped nowadays. They're slow on pretimes and sometimes releases dont even get on there at all.

Long story short, FTN is not worth getting on.
