I'm 19 years old, and in community college. I'm currently working at Fry's Electronics 4 days a week (28 hours), making $8.00 an hour as a merchandiser. I live pretty close to Fry's (10 minutes drive, no freeway).
I applied at 24 Hour Fitness, and got the job last week as a Membership Counselor (the people who get you to sign up for memberships). The pay is definitely better at 24. Only thing is, they want me to work 5 days a week, which cuts into my school. I kind of regret going in and filling out the papers with them.
My plan was to quit Fry's, but am kind of debating now. The 24 Hour Fitness is a 25-30 minute drive from my house. How do I break it to the manager that I don't want the job anymore?
