Front Speakers don't work after installing aftermarket stereo?

I replaced the stock stereo in my 1998 dodge ram with a JVC kd-hdr and the front speakers dont work, but the both of the rear speakers do work. I used Scosche install kit
 
sounds like the wiring connections are bad. assuming no amp. Recheck by using a voltimeter - power radio on and unplug the speaker wires to see if u get voltage, otherwise it's the connections. maybe a faulty radio? But recheck the connection poiints and the harness. be sure u used the correct harness or wiring points- color codes.
