My daughter is 2 1/2 and I'm going to get a bike so we can go for rides together. It seems like the forward facing seats would be a little better for the child so they aren't stuck staring at your back the whole time. I know there's risk with both types, but I was wonder if anyone has any experience with this type here?

I know I'll need a helmet, I'm just trying to look at different options for seating. A friend had mentioned the front-facing to me, but I don't know anyone that has actually used one.
I should add that my daughter is not very large for her age, she's is 25lbs and 33 1/2". Thanks for the advice!
