I spoke with my t mobile rep yesterday, and from my understanding t mobile will have something kinda like altel has. A circle of friends, 5 number anytime in and out

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ The circle is so you can call 5 people for free, no matter what carrier they are on. I wish Sprint offered that.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ I do believe Alltel has a circle of 10 people. This is one of the best add-ons I have seen in a long time!

Actually, t-mo has had it mentioned on their site for awhile now, search for "5" in the support area. (yes, a number is what they are calling the feature, couldn't they have thought of anything more catchy?). It is US CALLS ONLY, and currently not compatible with sidekick, blackberry or handheld devices and only available on a " '5' Capable phone". Nor is it compatible on any "FamilyPlan".
no clue as to why they make this limit, but to quote the FAQ:
Can Blackberry

they are not callin it 5, it will be called myfavs. at least thats what i heard. it will be available on the pearl when the feature launches, 5 is a test market trial for the feature, hince why its not really on their site in a well lit area.

From what I have heard it's 5 numbers any phone in the usa any carrier. It's being tested in the West right now. December is what I hear for the rest of us. It will be advilable on calling plans with $39.99 or higher. This is just what I have heard, also some other new features are coming to T-mobile..
