Use Liquor Boxes to Store and Organize Cables

I used to have an old Rubbermaid bin full of knotted-up cables (mostly USB, Cat 5e, and miscellaneous others), but my wife had (another) great organization idea that really solved the problem.
Liquor stores routinely throw away those big cardboard boxes with cardboard dividers that keep bottles from clanking together. She picked up a few different sizes and started putting the cables into the different Corona-sized compartments.
That box is in a storage shed right now, but I'm attaching a picture of a Patrón box that is about to be stuffed. The Patrón compartments are about 4"x4", so they would be better suited for my power strips or the kids' old toys, but she also picked up a wine case that would be good for cables.

Old Play-Doh containers (the teeny tiny small ones) hold 2 tbsp. of salad dressing! Small enough to throw in with your lunch to put the salad dressing on before you eat. (Extra tip: Wash out the Play-Doh container first!)
Let it be known that Play-Doh is non-toxic, so no health concerns with this tip. Let it also be known, though, that it is non-delicious, so you should still wash that container out well.

Use shampoo to prevent fogging. Rub a little bit of shampoo onto bathroom mirrors to prevent them from fogging up while in the shower. This also works for scuba masks
This can be especially useful if you have a mirror in your shower that isn't the fog-free kind.
