I am getting the curve on wed from t-mobil. Just wanted to know is there any big dif on the 2 phones the pearl and curve. My pearl broke so that is why I went with the curve. And 1 more question what os will it have new. Is there a upgrade os ? What do you like about your curve if you do not mind me asking. Thanks for taking the time to read this this site is awsome and the best info any place on the web for blackberry info so thanks in advance for your time.

Both the Curve and the Pearl should be running 4.3, and the Pearl Flip 4.6

The difference between the phones is the screen and the keypads, not much else (color I guess).

In terms of my Curve I just love the compactness of it. Light easy to use and pretty solid. To me it's no question why it's RIM's best selling BlackBerry.

I also went from the Pearl to the Curve. Mine shipped with 4.2, but it's no big deal to take it to 4.5.

I love the QWERTY keyboard instead of the SureType, I don't have to re-check everything to make sure I'm saying "see" and not "are". Also, I love the shortcuts on the curve, I never need to have those programs on my homescreen. One press of a button and I'm there!

What is the big dif on the 4.2 and the 4.5 os. Also does it hold the same size mem stick ? I have a 2 gig in my broken pearl

Here are some of the features of having 4.5 on the Curve:Video recording capability. (Which I think is the best)
HTML email for internet email accounts.Music and Video Streaming video capabilities.New browser home page design.Improved downloading experience.Improved UMA and data performance.Attachment downloading and document editing.Free/Busy calendar look-up and remote email search for BES users (Requires BES SW 4.1.5 or higher).BlackBerry Device Software 4.5.0.81 and later (supports up to 16 GB micro SD)

pearl 8100 runs 4.2, pearl 8120 runs 4.2 curve still runs 4.2 you have to upgrade t to 4.5, the curves will start coming in 4.5 in just a little while

but like many people will say larger screen, full qwerty, once upgrded to full qwerty improved browser experience, html email, larger memory card support, wifi and support of hotspot calling,
your curve will feel alittle larger and more of an email/messaging powerhouse

Thanks very much for the info. How do I get the 4.5 version for the 8320 from t-mobil thanks again. Wish I had it now but there sending it wed. Later
