from original cable to flash cable, possible?

i have original c55 data cable but i cant install flash and cant cahnge imei.Is it possible to change them in order to install flash and imei?If yes which point do i need to change?

This is an old post, so here's an even older Bulgarian webpage I found (2004), with a LOT more information on serial data cables (not perfect, but much better) than I've found in this forum.
