Dryer is 2 years old and was barely used by grandparents during that time and then given to us. On the lowest heat setting (for delicates) it is burning up, or melting parts of our clothes. I have tried only running it on the last 20 minutes of the cycle, during the "cool down" part, but it still burns. I always change the lint trap, and my husband got all new hoses, etc for it when we installed, so they should not be clogged. I know it is a fire hazard issue, but don't have money for new dryer. Could it be something simple like replacing a heating element or thermostat?
