guilt/loss? My friend placed his doxon Devinn in a "Water Bug" yesterday to put him down.

The Water Bug is basically a pet-carrier-sized box that is water-tight and has detachable weights on the bottom. The pet is loaded in and weights attached. It is placed in a swimming pool with a deep end and the weights begin to drag it down. Since it's water-tight, it bobs, but at the moment chosen by the owner, slats in the floor and roof snap up and it floods in less than one second, going straight to the bottom.

Within two minutes of the slat release the animal is waste tissue. There is a rope attached at the top where you can retrieve the "Bug" and empty the waste tissue into a garbage bag (they come included).

It was somber as hell and really difficult. I feel extremely guilty for participating in the euthanasia and don't know exactly where to go from here...

Apparently these Water Bugs are available for purchase form all sorts of places like Walmart/Target/Home Depot???

Help, please?
