ok i'm going to sounds like a middle schooler with my excessive use of "she said" crap. but please excuse it... here is goes.
so tomorrow is my friends 16 birthday and i hung out with her today.. but TODAY we were hanging out by the pool and i was saying how she shouldn't go in the pool with her clothes on because she would regret it when she came out and she would be cold, wet, and not have a towel, etc. then she said to me "we'll i'm not you. i'm not a complainer." and i wasn't mad about that i was just like.. "ha.. oookk." and then she's like, "come in with me!" and JOKINGLY (but of course with a hint of truth) i said "nope! i complain too much!" and laughed she was quiet and then she said, "I think i'm going to go home...." and me and my friend are like.. "What the heck? why?" she says "i'm going to take a shower...."
and this whole time, my friend and i are like.. "is she serious?? what??"
so there's the story. she leaves. i end up just being like.. "ok...you can go...???"
and she does.
but here's the thing. i'm supposed to do something for her for her party tomorrow. like hang out with her. take her somewhere in the morning and so is the other girl that was with me when she did this. we are BOTH really confused and think she over reacted. i feel awkward and honestly, i don't even want to do anything for her right now if he's going to be all p.m.s-y... >:I and knowing her, she's not going to say sorry or anything.. should i?? i mean, do you guys think i sould even say sorry? what did i do wrong??
what do i say? i can't say "are you mad" because she won't reply, or she'll just say no but still be pissy.
do i act like nothing happened and say "DON'T FORGET TO WEAR SHORTS TOMORROW!! IT'S GOING TO BE HOT!!!!
" (she doesn't know where we are taking her...)
is what i said TOTALLY out of line?? i personally don't think so.

sorry for this stupid question but i don't want to do the wrong thing.. (i tend to hold grudges and be harsh when people are out of line)
