Friendly rider wave

I'm happy to say...Florida is the most "Waving" state I've been! Yes, even Sport bikes give the low wave...

We are celebrating our freedom to enjoy our sport and do so by extending a "wave". I'll always return the wave!

Seems there is always rebels in the crowd, thats ok though it is still the home of the free and the land of the brave. We as americans get defined by these actions all to often not pulling together and all.

Big M called it right, a few times I have stopped on the side of the road to change my riding gear, and I never seen a bike pass me by without stopping to see if I needed help. Not one cager ever did that. Once again we are defined as one of those bike riders. Whether we like it or not it is what it is ,bikes against the cagers. I will be the first guy to wave and lend a hand to a fellow biker.

And 05 TRAIN I hope I run into you out there somewhere cuz I'm gona test you on this, I just gotta see you do that, hope I can hang onto the bars after that.

I only wave to Mopeds, most are my kind of people I assume. It's about the only way I'm sociable anyway. What really pisses me off is when I accidently wave to some Jap ( metric.....lol ) Harley wannabe model.

Population density in this country is a little over 1 person per square mile, so everybody waves at everybody - bikes, cagers, tractors, whatever - the roads are also great for sport bikes and sport tourers, so the mix is pretty much all over the board. Been that way as long as I can remember. I've always found it's easier to be friendly than not - no doubt I'm waving at an asshole once in awhile but the relationship is too brief to matter.

While on a leisurely Sunday ride, I did a double waive to a rider on a glide/roadking size bike. He looked at me like I had two heads, and I laughed my azz off.

It was like that when I was stationed in the Navy in Jacksonvill in the early 70's and when I moved back to FL and started riding again it still is. I guess were all just happy we can ride year round
