Friendly advice for a thirteen-year-old who really wants to become a writer?

How do I get my work out there? How do I improve it? I've searched this several times, but I know we have some great authors here on YA.

I've written several short stories and will be reading one of them at the Frye Festival. I have also written a review for the festival and won a book. That's my only recognition, really...
