Friend going in Asia, any good place to buy?

Well my friend is going to Pekin, Hong kong, beijing, tokyo, bangkok (geez, rich mofo) trip tomorrow, im looking forward a SHARP 904 SH or a N93. So which city / what place would offer the best price??? Any other phone in rebate over there that they dont offer much here?

Or should i just say, screw it not worth it and buy it here? (if the price is basically the same)
 
The only way you'll save significantly buying phones in asia versus buying online is if you know somebody who owns a phone shop and is willing to give you great discounts. Asia is all about connections man.
 
usually in low areas near malls. Got *rare* stuff there for cheap prices, i suggest ask some local people. Just be careful who you deal with. I went there once to mod my 3310 to invert the monochrome screen and change the backlight to pure blue, and bought a couple of stolen prepaid cards. This is in the Philippines though, i heard they can unlock blocked sim cards and change the phone hardware, like making a Nokia 7650 work in the US
