I remember this movie, I always get sad in the beginning with the train scene.

Fried Green Tomatoes has to be one of the best films of all time, it's definitely one of my favs.

yeah the honey part is good.

i thought it was funny when they had a funeral for buddy's arm

I love when they go get honey it's kinda the start of their freindship. and the train part funny!

oh

what is your favorite part of the movie?

i really like the food fight, its cute

yeah I've seen the movie so many times that the book was very different from the movie.

I love that movie! It's one of my all time favorite films. It's just so touching and feels very real. :)

Okay, I remember the Kathy Bates character. And, okay, at least I was right about the dying. If I have time, I will pull this out soon, so I can discuss it more. I did remember really liking it though.

It is about these two women in the 1930s in the south. They become very close friends. (some might say that they were in love) They open up a cafe and all this other stuff. Idgie the main character gets charged for murder. Ruth does die, i think of cancer towards the end.

Plus there is this other half of the movie of this woman ninny who tells the story to Evelyn (played by Kathy Bates) Evelyn was lonely and having problems with her husband, and at the end of the movie, Ninny moves in with Evelyn and her husband.

I don't know why I do...but they've always kinda run together to me.

Okay, refresh my memory about this one, it has been too long. Someone died...right?

lol you get them mixed up?

i like steel but i prefer this movie. it is one of my favs.

I love this movie....though, it's been forever since I've seen it. I always get this and Steel Magnolias mixed up.
