Freshwater eel fishing in georgia??? Where do I go. what waterway?

I live in georgia and the korean people here say that they catch these huge freshwater eels in georgia. They won't tell us where in georgia. They said near augusta, but not sure exactly. Please tell me a good location where I may catch big freshwater eel. IE. Waterways or little lakes linked to rivers.
