Hi there. For the past couple of days i`ve been eating lots of dry dates (the ones that are compacted into a rectangle cube & pre-measured to be used for baking purposes). The nutrition facts says HALF a cup (or one-forth of a 640g package) is only 120 calories.... eyeballing it, it looks to be about 15 squished dates for 120 calories.
However, grocery shopping today, I looked at fresh dates, and it said that 2 dates were 120 calories!
Am I missing something here... why the big difference, and i thought dried dates were SUPPOSE to be more calorie-dense!
Thanks
