Frequent Sprint MiFi 2200 Disconnects?

The EvDO forums are like a ghost town so i wondered if anyone here would know...

Starting about an hour ago, the Sprint MiFi 2200 started rebooting itself every 2 minutes or so.
After it reboots, the network light ( the green, blinking light) stays off and i can't resume activities on the internet until i turn the modem back on.

The Sprint and power lights come back on less than 1 second after it shuts down.

I've been using this for a little over a year(I think) without a problem..

I'm a gamer so this is REALLY a bother.

Whats wrong and how do i fix it?

While i'm here, is there any way to reduce my latency in-game with this? ;]

I also have a Sprint MiFi 2200. If you are gaming over this device expect it to get HOT! When it gets too hot it WILL turn itself off. Also, firmware and PRL updates fix some problems too. Log into it: 192.168.1.1 and go under the WWAN tab (you may have to enter a password first if you created an Admin one). Go to Configuration and update the PRL and firmware from there. One thing I've noticed with my model, unlike mobile phones, is that it will not perform these updates automatically. If it is still overheating, try setting it on a metal surface. When I'm at work it gets hot, but laying it upside down on the metal window sill and using the metal surface as a heatsink keeps it cool.

Keeping it cool increases connection speed and keeps it from disconnecting. Running it warm I speed test ~0.9-1.2Mbps down, ~0.3Mbps up. While it's cooled off I can get ~2.5Mbps down, ~0.7Mbps up. I can't stress enough about keeping firmware and PRL updates current. This worked for me. If all else fails, tethering it has kept it connected when it wanted to be stubborn, but only in OS X 10.6.3. In Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows Vista Home Premium it still wanted to disconnect.
