I have a '98 Pontiac Grand Prix. My AC in it is weak here lately. I know it needZ more freon in it. How much would this typically cost for such an old car (parts and labor)? Thanks in advance.

A car's AC system is a sealed unit. It is a myth that a vehicle is low on freon. Freon does not run out or get burned up like oil or coolant. The only way you will lose freon is if you have a leak somewhere. You need to get the leak diagnosed otherwise you will pay about $150 to get the freon charged only for it to lose it's charge within a hours to a few weeks.
