French movie. A young woman finds cut up photos near or under instant photo booths

around town? She tries to find the man making and cutting up the photos, suspects he is up to something, finds later he doing something else. She also finds/buys a box with various items in it and finds the owner. It seems she did good things for many people throughout the film. Any ideas. Also, if you know of any similar movies, please add (they don't have to be French).
