French film i can't remember the name of.

I wonder if anyone can help me with the name of a film.
It was French.It started with a guy sleeping in his car.He'd lost his job and was pretending to his wife and kiRAB that he was going to work everyday.
At the end of the film he had a mental breakdown.It was a very haunting and thought provoking film,i'd never seen anything like it.
Does anyone rememember it?.

I think it was on about 4 or 5 years ago.But it has only been on tv the once(as far as i know).It kind of struck a chord with me that film.How everything is built on the breadwinner and how it's taken for granted that money is coming into the household.
How easy it is to cross over into 'unknown territory'.

Quite a frightening film as far as I remember.

No,sorry it wasn't that.It was a very sad film.Like a lot of French films it was unusual.It ended with the guy driving his car through the night,with his wife trying to talk to him on the speaker phone.It was one of those films that stays with you through the years.
I keep on trying to remember the name,just so i can recommend it to people.
