Freemasons, would it be wise to join freemasonry when I turn 18 or when I have...

...financial security? According to the California jurisdiction, 18 y.o. is when one can join freemasonry.

Basically, should I join after college when I get a job that pays the bills? Because I don't want to be a burden to the fraternity, if not having a job or house DOES cause a burden...

I think I finally made the decision to join early as possible... I just don't know if I should join at 18 years of age.

What do you recommend?
You know what? This is the last time i'm posting a subject about freemasonry in the ignorant R&S section.

Knock three times and you'll receive your answer, if you've done your homework on this fraternity you'll understand.
