Freeciv - deciphering game icons - is there a reference site?

Regarding FreeCiv 2.1.9 -- the in game help files and wiki manual are useful but incomplete. I am having trouble figuring out what some of the game icons mean; for example a unit might have an F for fortified but it also might have a heart or a castle graphic attached to it.

Is there a reference guide to the various informational graphic tags somewhere?
