Free Verizon Wireless to Verizon Wireless calling?

I have the Verizon Wirless plan called America's Choice Family SharePlan that includes the "IN" Calling feature. My friend has Verizon Wireless and resides in a different state. Today we spoke on the telephone and curious if I am going to get long distant charges. Please help. Thank you.
