I found a phone number a while back for a free counselling service for teens, but I can't find it anymore. I would love for my daughter to be willing to go to a counselor or therapist but she's completely against it, so maybe a number she can call at her own convenience would help, and hopefully that will put her at ease about seeing a dr. I found a few crisis hotlines, but the one I found before was for real counselors. Any ideas?
And no, I'm not one of those uptight parents who thinks her child needs therapy just for doing normal teen things. We've talked and she's got issues but won't open up to me.
