I have a yellow tang saltwater fish that I love and kept for the past 3 years. He has outgrown all my fishtanks and would love to set him free so he can swim as fast and far as his heart desires. Yellow tang loves open wide spaces to sprint and coast freely. Can I sneak my fish into a musuem with a 100000 gallon salt water tank and dump him in? There is an musuem in california with an open viewing area above the tank where I can set him free, there are hundreds of other tangs like him. Is this illegal? I just don't want to donate my fish and see him be put in a small viewing tank for the rest of his life.
