I sometimes send e-mails to companies that I have or have not bought products from asking for free samples, vouchers, coupons, etc.
I was wondering what companies (US based or otherwise) are the most interested in offering promotions, food vouchers, coupons or samples for customers or potential customers. I have received enthusiastic responses from Kashi and Cliff Bar in the past along with several dollars worth of samples or coupons. And I have also received somewhat shocking replies from other companies seemingly not interested in my business (to remain nameless). What other companies are enthusiastic to provide free food samples, coupons, etc?
Do you have any suggestions for approaching companies for free samples, coupons, etc? When it comes to capital consumption I like to be a patron of an ethical company that cares about my business as well as a company that produces products in an ethically responsible way. I have a moral ethic of loyalty and commitment and like to have some sort of relationship with the companies I regularly by food products from. What companies have the best consumer relations?
