Your best bet, If you want it for free, is to find a torrent. Although this is illegal, it really is the only way you can get accurate and in-depth material for free.
If this is for a job, just tell your employer what materials you need. Most employers will buy work related reference material.
If you are in school, check your university's library. They may have electronic journals or references you can access from your computer.
If none of these options work, you can check wikipedia, although I would take that material with a grain of salt.
