First there was Skype who offered a few bucks of SkypeCredit if you called Haiti, then there was Google who offered free calls to Haiti via Google Voice, Now Verizon has jumped on the bandwagon.
If you are a Verizon Wireless customer and you have a monthly billing plan, not a prepaid one, you can call Haiti until January 31st free of charge. That means not a dime will be charged to you and any charges that is accrued while making a call to Haiti will be waived and any calls made to Haiti from the day of the earthquake until today will be waived.
