Freaky Flickers: The new Plan 9 of CG animation

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

The people who made this film actually thought it was good!?

I feel sorry for whoever made the trailer. Imagine having to trawl through the whole thing to pick out the best bits... urrrrghhhhh.

I don't think this is an actual, feature-length movie. It appears to be a promotional video for what appears to be some sort of toy.

Ooh! The site's back up? This was featured on Cartoon Brew a while back, needless to say it was ripped to shreds in the comments. Shortly after, the website disappeared. I guess it's back online. Watch the trailer, it really is priceless.

...This makes the first season of ReBoot look like a friggin Pixar film, and that has the excuse of being made in 1994.

Freaky Flickers, on the other hand, has no excuse for having such HORRID quality CG in this day and age. I've seen better CGI in those "Joe Cracker's Light of Courage" films. I've seen better CGI in pictures from a certain "Awful" website, and those pictures are PURPOSELY supposed to be bad.

Hell, I'VE SEEN BETTER CGI IN RATATOING.

The question is, are they planning on releasing this DTV or theatrically? If it's the former, it's at least a microscopic bit forgivable and we can all watch it plummit to the unreachable bottom of the bargin bins...

If it's the latter, however, I weep for humanity.

Good luck with that. That piss poor CG animation makes Hoodwinked look like Fantasia. My prediction is that Freaky Flickers will be released as a DTV, which will soon afterwards proceed to turn up buried in the bargain bin of your local Wal-Mart.

Somehow I knew wthat name was gonna crop up. This is... wow, this is horrid. I could do better and I can barely even get down the finer points of anatomy when I draw.
