Fratinization in the army.....?

My husband is an E5 about to get his E6 in the army. He is a squad leader. One of his soldiers a PV2 doesn't have any family. I invited him to our home for the holidays....... Is this fratinization? Could this blow up in my husbands face? They are stationed in Germany (my husband and him). Originally his plan was to go to NY to see his girlfriend but she broke up with him. We live in Colorado. Is this ok?
Ill add the PV2 is a male.
 
It's not, the Squad Leader is taking care of his guys. My First Sergeant used to invite Marines to his house if they had no where to go for Thanksgiving. It will be very awkward for him though.
 
yeah its a nice thing.

he is taking care of his Joe basically - since it is customary to invite people who have no other options over for Thanksgiving.
