Frank Miller's 'The Spirit'

You know that teaser looks pretty darn....crap!!!!!

The thing is, as a long time Spirit fan, I have a mental image of how this thing looks in my own mind , based upon the Eisner comic strips. I just think that as a comic book its close to perfection and making a movie can only reduce the effect.

Also Sin City and 300 are quite dark. I recall the Spirit being griity at times but it was not always the film noir stories that were the best ones. There were horror, sci-fi, comedy and just pure human interest stories.

I have a horrible feeling that this film is going to be really one dimensional compared to its source material.

I'll wait for the DVD.

NB Go see Iron Man...its brilliant ( doing my bit for word of mouth there !!!!)

I would have written this trailer off as a Mills and Boon film adaptation.;)

I hope this film is good.
