Fracture hand with K Wires

hi - fractured my hand a week last Tuesday cycling to work when door suddenly opened - have a boxer's fracture to fifth metacarple which I had to have surgery on the next day to fix the fifth metarcaple to the fourth and dorsal slab - wires come out in 3 weeks - have to undergo intensive physio thereafter - can anyone tell me how soon after removal I can expect to be back at work?
