Here's the work that I am looking at...
I'm not sure who that is on the left, my guess is that it is St. John the Baptist, but I feel that it could also be the angel of death representing the death of christ, but jesus has his fingers for the second coming?
Anything about this picture would be helpful! I have to write about formal elements (ie lines, color, texture, space, etc.) and how it creates meaning.
