FPS's on the Wii: controller setup?

I'm interested in getting a Wii, but i'd like to see some solid FPS games first. Are there any games with this type of controller setup?

Let the Nunchuck handle movement entirely:

Up, Down, Left, Right----> like a keyboard W,S,A,D setup by default (up,dwn, strafe left, strafe right)

hold down a nunchuck button to change the strafes into rotation

Wiimote:

Used only for direct-aim/shooting/weapon selectionn etc

so far i've heard that the current FPS's out there use strafing w/ the wiimote D-pad and/or spinning by aiming towards screen edges

Does anyone have more info on future FPS games for the wii and how the controller setups will be?

COD3 sounds pretty close to what you're looking for but you don't select weapons with the Wii Remote, you just jerk the nunchuck quick and it switches weapons.

CoD3 is very responsive.

It controls exactly like a PC. The chuck handles the movement forward and backward and strafe. But if you want to turn you have to use the remote just like you would use a mouse. Very simple, very intuitive, very fun

anybody have a problem in COD where they can't toss a grenade in the middle of a mission??

press left on the d-pad, but when i swing my nunchuk to toss it, it switches my weapons.

Yes, which is slightly different from a PC. The reason they do this is because your arm isnt in a fixed position like it is on PCs, you can aim in different spots while facing one direction.

But it's not hard to pick up, if you are used to a PCs controls for a FPS you will pick up on the Wiis (for CoD3) very easily

the default is to toss by holding and releasing the d-pad.

but you can also switch it so that you can toss with the chuk.

obviously you read the manual.
