In order to be taken more seriously and to be a somebody, Stan becomes a meter maid who seems to have all of the power. Now he's getting the best tables at restaurants, pocketing quarters from meters and impressing Francine with his prowess. But, when Turlington from Parking Internal Affairs pays him a visit, Stan realizes crime and this lifestyle don't pay. Meanwhile, Hayley poses nude for a college art class and is surprised to see Roger there.

Hmmmmm.....Discuss.

Haha, I LOVED the self-referential lines while Stan and Francine were on the phone. And I've actually been to New Glarus, Wisconsin. :D

The phone gags were great -- my ONE complaint is that they should've been spaced apart so they didn't hit us with so much all at once. It started to feel overdone. Would've been a great callback.

So far, much better than last week's. It's like two different shows. This is why I watch American Dad.

I'm not sure I "got" the ending, but overall, this was a fine episode. Lots of funny gags and a plot that likely couldn't be done well on another show. (I can imagine Homer becoming a meter maid and becoming corrupt -- sort of like when he became a fireman -- but I'm pretty sure it would be awful.)

Fox really paid off tonight. The pattern used to be that goodness and badness were distributed evenly between Groening and MacFarlane, but these days it seems like it's either all bad or all good. Odd.

I'm not seeing things right...that was Forrest Whitakers character from The Shield...wish I could remember his name... but yeah that was definately him especially with the eye squinting...

BTW, this ep was hilarious. From Stan and Francine's corruption to the whole Haley painting plot...Steve how could you.....ick...

The comical irony of believing himself to be a nobody with a busy life after he stopped being a meter maid and resumed being a CIA agent with a job entailing what we saw at the end?

That was one of my favorite parts. That, and the denouement of Haley's painting.

Huh, no one seemed to guess the parody of Goodfellas. The Beginning threw me off, but by the middle of the episode, I got it. The whole, starting out with the driving, the person in the trunk, and the scene destroying everything, even trying to flush the coins down the toilet.

Liked this one. Both MacFarlane shows were good tonight, this one being a tiny bit better.

4.5/5

I was gonna say, I thought the "flushing the evidence down the toilet" scene was very reminiscent of Goodfellas.

Overall a good episode. The amount of times the inspector had to go back to the car, for the smallest of reasons, was great ("Ho ho, wait a minute... I'll be inside, I won't need sunglasses!"). I also LOL'ed at Stan's line to the old lady when giving her a ticket despite saying that if he she gets a ticket she won't be able to afford medication: "You've lived long enough."

Not only did they put in a Shield ref.

Not only did they use the actual Kavanaugh character.

They got Forrest Whittaker to play him.

Brava, American Dad. Brava.

Okay my fox station blacked out for a minute after Stan talked his way into the restaurant what exactly happened that embarrassed Francine so much?

Other than that it was a well done episode. I loved how that one guy took so long to get to the door. ".....oops I left my badge..." ".....oops I left my sunglasses..............wait I'll be inside I don't need my sunglasses...."
