Love this film..great mix of comedy and drama and John Hannah's funeral speech is heartbreaking.

I watched this film last night, and i had forgotten how brilliant it is (although it does look very dated in places now).

Andie McDowell can act to save her life, but Hugh Grant is fabulous.

Plus, I cried buckets at the funeral scene. I had a lump the size of a hairball in my throat

I cringe at that line, how very, very corny. Maybe it's just because of who delivered it though, Andie McDowell can't act very well imo. Great film though. Lost count the number of times I've watched it.

So sad about Marmalade Atkins (aka Charlotte Coleman aka Scarlett) who died a few years ago. So young and so beautiful.

Doesnt anyone else feel nauseous at anything by Richard Curtis. And Curtis and Hugh Grant.........yuukkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!
The worst thing by Curtis though has to be that oh so politically correct film with Bill Nighy as a goverment minister.
I still retch at the very thought of it.
