Hi everyone, today on the way home i passed a motocross bike with a free sign on it. one catch, no motor. I through it in the truck and now am trying to identify it so I can start to look for parts. Obviously it does not say honda, yamaha, etc...so my question is, where are the vins on these. It is a red frame with gold rims. Thanks to anyone that can help!

Look around the front steering neck, under the gas tank, or in the area of where the rear axle frame areas are. Other then that, good luck. Or go back to where you got it from and ask.

Generally the VIN is stamped on the steering stem (front of the frame) head stock area. It could be left, it could be right side, but generally it is there. sometimes it is on a plate. The color of the frame may have been changed, as I do not know of any from the factory that are red.

If you can post a picture of what you got, or of the tank that was on it, we may be able to figure it out based on tank design and how everything comes together.
