so my neighbor came knocking on my door this morning, asked if i wanted to see these kittens she had found, she had taken one inside her house and tried to feed it some replacement formula for cats with an eyedropper but had issues, and kept it under a heating pad, she brought it out to show me, all wrapped in a towel, then took me into this spot by the highway behind our houses where the weeds are about 2 or 3 feet high was 2 other kittens, she put the one she had taken in back with the others but I've heard that wild animals wont care for their young if people have been messing with them, and the cat who had these kittens might have an owner and a home, but it could also be completely stray and feral, I'm not entierly sure how old they are, but they can still fit in one cupped hand and she said the one she had had it's eyes open, but they usually leave them closed. They can crawl a little and they move around plenty, and they look very healthy with fat little bellies and clean fur, but im worried the mom wont take them back, should I call the humane society?
