Formatting memory card in N80

Hi there,

I'm trying to format the memory card in my N80. However, it says 'Unable to format. Memory card is in use by another application'. There are no other applications running though. When I turn the phone on, it says 'Installing' and eventually says that some applications couldn't be turned on, and I'll have to install them manually. In App Manger there are a number of SIS files on the memory card which aren't installed. I can't delete them, nor can I install them, then remove them. How do I get this damn thing formatted? (btw, using a card reader isn't an option, I don't own one, it needs to be formatted in the phone).

make sure your messages go to phone memory, not the card...also use taskman to make sure EVERYTHING is stopped from running. You should have no prob then... I had the same issue..

Check the camera options. It may be set to save to the memory card.
