Format K608i phone

Yesterday i deleted a few .3gp files from my phone. The files got deleted but my phone status is displays only 28MB of free space. There is no other data present on the device..no pictures, no ringtones, no music files..its blank..even then i have lost arnd 5MB of disk space. Is there a way to format the phone memory and regain the lost space. K608i has only 32/33 MB of user memory and on top of that i have only 28MB available at my disposal... somebody help me out

Do a master reset. It's under settings.

I tried that...but that has not yeilded any results....
